This model is appreciating — demand is outpacing supply. Waiting for prices to fall is unlikely to pay off.

Roughly £1,200 to £1,800 for a base or Air trim with healthy joints and battery. Be honest about the caveat: very few UK-domestic used units trade, so this range is built from a thin set of eBay and importer listings (pre-owned Air units around $1,300–$2,000 in the US) plus the £2,280–£2,390 UK new price. Expect real negotiating room in either direction.
Check the model sticker on the underside and the top speed shown in the Unitree app: the Air is limited to about 2.5 m/s, the Pro reaches about 3.5 m/s, and Edu units add foot-force sensors and a depth camera. If you want a robot to walk, follow, and do tricks from the app, the base/Air trim is enough. If you want to write code against an officially supported SDK, you need a Pro; if you need low-level joint control for research, only the Edu does it.
The quadruped category is the only one rising on the Robot Resale Index, driven by developer and education demand. The base Go2 rides that wave less strongly than the Pro because it lacks official SDK access, but UK supply is so thin that clean units still sell quickly. Treat our +6% year-on-year figure as an estimate from sparse data rather than settled fact.
Sometimes — but price in the risks. Direct-from-China units can undercut UK resellers by several hundred pounds, but you carry the shipping damage risk, there is no UK warranty support, and firmware regions have caused app-pairing headaches for some buyers. A UK-supplied used unit at £1,500 is usually a better buy than an unseen import at £1,300.
